Encouragement in the Unknown

We can all feel it:
That feeling of the unknown,
That feeling of uncertainty.

It feels like just a few weeks ago it was life as usual for Love INC. Getting to the office, seeing our Love INC family, and working for the Kingdom.

And then all of a sudden it came to a halt! News of Covid 19 had spread very quickly and we believed it was best to take as many precautionary steps as we could.

And so, like many folks right now, we are working remotely and praying through this that we would glorify God in all of this.

Our hearts were heavy but hopeful as we met digitally this past Thursday afternoon, discussing what the future would hold.

While we are trusting God and His goodness and faithfulness in all of this, it can be so easy to get swept up in the unknowns:

"What will happen to our neighbors?"
"Will any of our volunteers get sick?"
"What about our staff and their families?"
"What will the economic impact be?"

I'm sure to some degree you have felt any range of emotion throughout all of this as we certainly have!

But in it all, we hold onto the God who is faithful to His children. He will give us all that we need:

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." - Phil 4:19

What is incredible about this statement is that it is written from prison! Paul felt the weight of suffering, was honest with himself about it, but relied completely on the Father who loved him.

That kind of transcendent humble resilience in times of uncertainly comes not from a positive news headline, but rather from the God of the universe who says "you are my child". That is a profound truth that we have not even scratched the surface of!

Working for His kingdom,
-Love INC SAW
