Love INC SAW is one of more than a hundred Love INC locations across the United States and Kenya, who partner with over 7,800 Christian churches to serve hundreds of thousands of people in need.
Our local Love INC serves families who reside in Staunton, Waynesboro, Augusta. How? By mobilizing local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ. Here’s why that works:
Churches serve their communities in different ways. One area may have a financial literacy program, while another has housing assistance. Yet, when care is not coordinated, needs can be overlooked or duplicated, and people are not served in a holistic manner.
With Love INC
Love INC fosters collaboration and organizes holistic care to help churches serve their neighbors through resources and relationships. By networking churches together, each church is able to lean into their strengths, knowing that their neighbors will be cared for by the body of Christ within their community.

Our Networking Churches
Christian churches from across at least six denominations partner together to form a Love INC. Within these partnerships, Love INC serves as the scaffolding upon which greater growth is possible. However, it is the Christians in these churches who model Christ’s love and answer God’s call to serve. Working together as the body of Christ, we can best love and serve our community.

The Love INC ministry model is relational, because we believe Christ-like relationships are transformative.
When Love INC flourishes in a community, healthy relationships grow, Christian love thrives, and struggling neighbors receive support, friendship, and the kind of practical help they need. Love In the Name of Christ’s Relational Ministry model can be expressed in four interconnected ways or “modes.” We call these modes:
The local Love INC Connection Center is the foundation of the Love INC ministry. It is also the first opportunity we have to begin to listen to and care for people while exploring ways for churches to be helpful.
The Connection Center receives requests for help, screens the requests, verifies the need, and then refers the request to a local church ministry, church volunteer, or community agency. After people are helped the Connection Center follows up to ensure the need was met and to offer continued spiritual support.
Love INC helps churches build ministries to fill the gaps in services by identifying unmet needs in the community. From household goods to life skill classes, we help churches organize services and products to meet real needs without duplicating existing resources. Yet, what is offered is much more than products and services, our relational approach ensures that each person is seen as an individual and offered prayer, encouragement, and ongoing connection.
Love INC desires to help people holistically to achieve longer-term goals. We do this through our Transformational Ministry. This involves organizing and equipping church members to offer weekly classes and mentoring. Some Transformational Ministry programs are just a couple of months long, and others extend to over a year. Our Change Your Life Classes offer three 13 week session each year. Our Transformational Ministry programming provides people with knowledge/skills training, goal setting, emotional support, and spiritual encouragement along with the church and community resources available through the Love INC Connection Center and Gap Ministries.
